out of all the women in the whole world, he chose you!

I finally got round to watching Rosemary's Baby (I know I know, howww had I not seen it??) and have found a new bitchin' old lady to obsess over in the shape of Minnie Castevet, played by the absolute and utter queen that is Ruth Gordon. Mia Farrow's wardrobe is cool too, but not a patch on the insane psychedelic brilliance of a Satan-worshipping old broad in the late 60s.

Also, anyone else suddenly see where the inspiration for the Satanic couple in Ghost World might've come from?

  1. i haven't seen this, but i'll make sure i do xx

  2. Hey chum, guess who! I remembered to check out your blog, you cool kid, you. Really like it. This post just made me sad all over again that I have another 50 years to wait til I can pull of turbans. So many silk scarves all just calling out to be made into

p.s. I had to make an account to comment on this. Ridic.

  3. Hahaha, I remember that old lady. So creepy.. I saw that movie some years ago. There's something terrifying about old horror movies, I can't describe it but sometimes they give me more creeps than new ones with all extra special effects and such.

Thank you for the comment! Have a great weekend,

  5. Rosemary's Baby has been on my list of movies to watch for so long! Hah now I want to watch it ASAP just to see this lady, she looks funny.

  6. yes, it is a great movie, def everybody has to watch it. Roman Polanski is very good film director.

  7. Hey! Thanks for checking out my blog!

  8. Yes. Just yes (I should be reading my readers for uni but sif do that right?). Also see Maude from Harold and Maude. My baby sister was named after her and therefore the best young kid ever. And as soon as she has any kind of sartorial sense I will be making her dress and perform exactly like her namesake. She holds such promise..
